psp problems: umd playing

i have been playing grand theft auto vice city stories for a long time. i bought a renewed the game. i played it for 1 week and it acts up. it is like it is skipping but it is not scratched. please help.psp problems: umd playing

Maybe Framerate issues.....or just a bad game. sometimes people sell pirated games in disc form to gamestop (you said you got it renewed so im guessing you got it there). (They do it with GBA games all the time and I have heard it's done with PSP games so yeah).

I had to tell them my copy of ''GTA:SA'' was a Hot Coffee version (they didn't ask, I mentioned it off-hand, and they picked it up like it was radio-active waste and handed it back to me).

Exactly. I think if his disc or UMD isn't messed up it's probably that.
