PSp Black screen w/ green power light

I have a PSP and when I was tyold that I needed to get a new upgrade i had planned to do so. Before I got the chance to make the update I tried to turn on the system and when i did the Light turned on and the screen stayed black. After about 5 seconds the light turned off and the screen never came on. I tried several thing like taking out the battery, holding the powere button to try and reset the system, removing the memory card, hooking up to the net but nothing worked. If anyone has an idea of what I should do or any sort of help please comment back. Thanks for the help, Airmex.PSp Black screen w/ green power light
