Well first it's not annouced yet so yeah. There is a Dessdia bundle and a Rock Bamnd bundle coming out. Wait for E3 to see if it is annouced or not because the bundles come out after E3 and then you would know what to do. No new PSP? Get the bundles. A new psp was annouced and you like it? Then get it. Just wait. (I really hope that if they do annouced a PSP2 it has some sort of UMD Drive. I want to play all my games and the new ones coming out that will be on UMD.)is there any point buying a psp now as ...
E3 is only about 10 days away. I advice you wait a bit
Since E3 is so close- it is probably worth waiting to see if a new model of the psp is revealed.However- I'm 99% sure it's NOT going to be the psp2- for Sony has already confirmed the new psp will NOT have a second analog stick.So it's going to be a new version of the current psp- not the psp2.

Even if they do anounce a PSP2 of some kind we can probably expect support from sony for a while (PS2 anyone) and even if they did announce it and discontinued support it could still be 1 to 2 years before its on the market.
The PSP 2 won't be announced, it'll be the PSP Go which will be a new model of the existing PSP. So wait until E3 anyway.
Wait until E3 is finished. But personally, I think SONY has released too many PSP versions already.
I severely doubt it but since it is so close just wait anyway they may come out of the blue and surprise us.
Ofcourse its worth it. Even if it is announced it wont come before months have passed.
i kinda doubt that they would get rid of the umd disk completely unless they made a program for us to upload our games/ movies that are already on the umd's.
