PSP GO not PSP2?

By releasing this with no UMD drive, it destroys a section of old PSP games for new buyers and prevents old owners from ever upgrading. It doesn't make sense! Why would they do this? Then there is no second analogue stick where there is clearly room so this clearly can't be the PSP2! Did you put your advertising people in charge of the entire company Sony?I don't care about having all your games on the PSP GO. I ALREADY HAVE THAT ON A REGULAR PSP!PSP GO not PSP2?
The PSP Go merely appeals to those who like digital download as it is a growing trend. While I agree with you, if me and those of us who have a nice collection of UMD games we play may not be able to upgrade due to the fact there really isn't a way to play these games on the PSP Go. The Go isn't really supposed to be the PSP 2.It comes with a few extras but Sony stated that they will still cater to those who have the current models and prefer ''Tangible'' copies (aka UMDs, Hard Copies). So really the PSP GO doesn't effect us in that we will still be able to use our current system. Is reality it's more like a DSI but the DSI actually still uses copies while goes digital.PSP GO not PSP2?

I think sony is doing this because they have no choice not because they want to start a trend.

If that was the case they wouldn't still support UMDs. They would get rid of it since they would still be pirated.
