Will the PSP Go! be a failed.

Well I don't like it and second there is no UMD with it. Now you are going to download games to PSP Go! but how much will the downloadble game cost? I would have to say around a full price of $40.00 like an UMD game. But people don't want to paid a type of price for a DL game, But Sony is making a big mistake on PSP Go! and it will failed from day one. I don't see going to be a seller and I think that Sony should do is started making the PSP2 not this. Will the PSP Go! be a failed.
It's not really a fail. Digital download is becoming a growing trend. At least they are still making UMDs for those who want Hard Copies and want to keep their current models and play their old games. You won't know it's a fail till it comes out. I could tell the DSI and a lot of other things looked liked fails before they came out but turned out to be good and have a lifespan. Also on another note: People have no reason really to be upset or complain about the PSP Go. The rumors were and thousands of threads are more frustrating than the actual thing. As I said all it merely does is serve an option for those who rather just carry the system and are into the Digital download trend. If you don't like it buy or keep your current PSP model. Whether it be 3000, 2000, or the phat one. Sony is still supporting those so why get upset out of nothing. I was more upset when thee rumors said they DITCH the UMD FORMAT. That made me think no more UMDs and backwards support but that's not the case. Will the PSP Go! be a failed.
Add a letter L to the first word written on the topic and the poll before the mods get mad.
Well Sony don't care about people will do like the UMD but they will have all there new PSP gmes go DL for the PSP Go!
^^^They won't be big titles. Ofcourse there will be some exclusive downloadble games for the PSP Go. Just look at the DSi. They aren;t big titles. They are more like the Arcade games/PSN games that you could download on the PS3. I mean if they are gonna make a new model. They should atleast add something besides like a hard drive.
In my opinion I strongly dislike it. It looks totally ugly, and has no UMD drive which is a major problem. One good thing is it has 16GB of internal memory but it looks bad and still only has ONE analogue stick.....I just bought my PSP 3000 a month ago and now theres another one coming....Jeez. Theres like 4 different PSP versions now, can't they make ONE good handheld console and stick with it.....
Why the hell isn't there two analog sticks. That's the future of handheld gaming because it will dominate on first person shooters,
since there no umd but if you get good memory on it it might be good, i hope i can still watch my movie and music on it.

Atleast it doesn't effect you. Keep your 3000 and life goes on.

There's no reason for you to be pissed if your happy with your system.A system is not going to have the same sales every year. Sales get lower dramatically every year so a new system would get even current owners excited.Alright... This system has only been leaked... Nobodies even tried it yet. I'm sure people that don't like it now won't even give it a chance though.Sony's just giving another option... Everybody seems so frenzied, though. Now it's just getting sad, and I'm sure people just want Sony to fail.
It depends on if Sony supports it correctly, it could be the new trend, or it could be the next betamax.
Price this baby at $199 and the DSi is going to have some serious competition.I hope Sony doesn't drop the ball here and chage $299 or $249...they'd be setting it up for failure that way.$199 though...all of a sudden the DSi doesn't look nearly as cool anymore...Wishful thinking though...

You keep saying to prevent pirates but you forget they are still supporting UMDs.

The only reason sony said theyare going to support it is because they have to. They can't pubicly say that they did this because of pirates. But your right they will support it . What about other developers. I'm sure harmonix wasn't happy that rock band got leacked. They released it to encourage developers again.

Probably it's whole life time. YEs they will eventually get rid of UMDs but this IS NOT A PSP2. Plus with everyone still wanting the UMDs they will probably stay with the UMDs till PSP 2. Whenever that happens.

Sony will probably support it but I dont believe developers will still do it. Of course this is all just my thinking I could be wrong

Devs would lose money ethier way. Have you not seen the split between people. There are plenty of people keeping thier system. They would potential lose sales. Especially if they price Go very high. Higher than $200 would be too much when 3000 is available and DSi cost $170.

I mean my psp was going to rot if it wasnt for the awesome line up sont pulled out of its ass ths year. I think that in order for it to stay really good devs are going to want to go DD so that there is no way there could be a leak or no way their game can be pirated
