Does the game have saves? Have they modified it to be a little more ''up-to-date''?Originally when you beat a level there were strings of button codes to get to each car's levels in the story mode, how does the downloaded port handle saves and level access? Do you have to write down the codes or can you just make a save? I'll pro'ly buy it either way because I want some TM on my PSP and I can't find ''Head-On'' in any of my local resale shops (plus I just don't know if I would like it as much as TM2 whichI considered perfection in gaming), but I was wondering what the impressions of the game (and programming facts) were about it, here on the forums. Your thoughts, please? Thanks!''Twisted Metal 2'' From PSN, a ...

No :P I am planning on getting it for the PSN too but not sure if anyone else knows...but from what I have seen from the PS1 games i bought the save system pretty much stays the same.
I bought it... you use the old button code system so keep a pen handy if you finish a round... and when you code up for a level you start with 3 lives again. That's all well and good... I don't mind the code saving 'cuz I'm an ancient gamer, but the control schemes are explained with a PSOne pre-analog controller as a graphic so, it doesn't quite correspond due to a lack of second shoulder button on the PSP so you need to play the various types to figure out what works for you. The one bad thing is, it doesn't even save game option settings so you need to re-input your prefs every time...... small price (plus the $6) to pay for such a great game. Just as good as I remember it with all of thecodes like freeze burst or mine drop, and camera angles in-tact (I like playing in the completely drawn-out distance camera so that you can see the playfield better - makes Napalm easier to gauge, etc)... The one thing is, I thought there was a yellow taxi called Wasp or something, and I also thought that Sweetooth was an unlockable character for play, so I don't know if there's ever going to be a way to get those characters... but Grasshopper and all the others are here with the same sound effects... brought a smile to this ol' dog's grey muzzle (see pic left). Now, if only I could recall the Minion code! :twisted:But this is a good port and the DL was fast... let's have a few more good reasons to check back soon, Sony!!!

how many players can play on the PS3?
Personally they should release Twisted Metal 1 on the PStore
Yes ''TM1'' would be an awesome release, as long as it's the $5.99 release that TM2 was.
