i want to get a psp and i cant decide between the psp 2000 or 3000... did they ever fix the sceen problem that te psp 3000 had or should i just get the psp 2000?did they ever fix the psp 3000 screen pr ...
I think you should wait til E3 starting at June 1st. There might be a new PSP model in development. did they ever fix the psp 3000 screen pr ...
The 3000 ''problem'' i.e. the scan lines that are sometimes faintly visible, isn't really a problem, at least to me. Still, I Agree that you should wait a few day to see if a new model is announced. If not, I would go with the 3000.
i just saw the psp go i think u guys r right ima wait
i just bought 3000 i have never seen any scan lines.
from what I understand the 3000 will sometimes look better, and the 2000 will sometimes look better. I guess it depends on the game, where you are playing and the psp video settings.I'm hoping the go will have the best video that way I just get one of those, but 4-6 months is a long time to wait.
what screen problem? I have seen 10 psp 3000's and their screens are perfectly fine so stop whining about the scanline boogey man.
Hard to fix a problem that doesn't exist. ;)
i read that these scanlines only show in older games. isnt that the case? i saw pictures of scanlines and they said it happened when playing ''certain older psp games''
i have a psp 3000 and i've played the 1000 and 2000 and i haven't noticed anything wrong... i think you're safe w/ a 3000, and please god don't screw yourself with the psp go.
It's just for 2D games.Sony is aware of it, and it's just the sacrifice for the wider color gambit. I think it's totally worth it, and the scan-lines are hard to see unless you look really closely.
there was never a problem with the 3000. i dont have a clue what everyones on about with these scan lines? mine looks great.

Out of all the PSP games i own, LocoRoco is the only one that shows the scan-lines (which funnily enough isn't a problem since i hate LocoRoco). So unless you love simple coloured 2D games, the much higher colour spectrum of the 3000 makes it look like a much higher quality picture.
